Client Relations Manager & Sales Specialist

Job Summary

This role owns the account management, daily tasks involved with customer orders, and solving potential issues that arise of one of our largest customers by leading a team of CX Specialists. This role also works closely with the Sales and CX Director to provide critical support and information to the sales team to ensure positive experience by monitoring inventory, running analysis on key sales data, and managing backorder reporting.

Key Accountabilities

Customer Support Backup

  • Works directly with external customers to place orders and troubleshoot problems, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Identifies and fosters process improvements both internally and externally
  • Proactively communicates internally and externally to drive overall satisfaction and retention of business
  • Develops and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Personalization and Operations teams to ensure our processes are documented and updated as needed, with the customer needs in mind
  • Creates and maintain a library of customer comments and FAQ

Account Management

  • Develops and foster relationships with customers
  • Responsible for every aspect of customer orders
  • Help grow existing account
  • Track inventory levels and provide alternatives on OOS items
  • Educate customer on new products (product launch)
  • Assist Sales Director and Account Managers with administrative tasks as needed

Inventory

  • Forecasting- compile annual forecasts from key customers,
  • Coordinate with Account Managers and Supply Chain on demand changes throughout the year
  • Update team on container arrival
  • Backorder assistance / backup:
    • Backorder data
    • Running Backorder report
    • Backup on processing backorders
  • Backorder threshold reporting

Reporting & Analysis

  • Data Analysis
  • Data preparation
  • Jet Report trainer
  • Assist Sale Director to identify key opportunities through data
  • Product launch- run analysis on similar items sales to determine initial order quantity
  • Runs necessary reports such as inventory reports, and communicates data to customer(s)
  • Run reports with CRM data
  • Assist with administrative logistics in CRM- creating fields, dashboards, and reports

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position supervises customer experience specialists

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Supervisory experience helpful

  • Ability to lead and direct others
  • Ability to build and maintain customer (external and internal) relationships
  • Desire to identify and solve problems for and with customers
  • Ability to process heavy volume of data entry, with high degree of accuracy
  • PC proficient and MS Office user
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and interpersonal skills
