Job Summary

The Corporate Account Manager will utilize their relationship management skills to ensure excellent service leading to long-term customer satisfaction and growth with our top Pet accounts. Sell Terrybear and its programs and products, ensure customer satisfaction and assist in developing new business opportunities. Build and maintain Terrybear’s credibility, build strong, lasting relationships, and earn the customers’ trust.

Key Accountabilities

Sales/Account Management

  • Responsible for growing customer volume, sales, and profitability by selling new and existing products as well as services to current and new customers
  • Utilize the sales process to recommend products and solutions to customers
  • Research customer needs and competitor activity
  • Conduct product presentations
  • Prepare and execute annual / quarterly customer business reviews
  • Utilize Terrybear CRM tool
  • Lead new program initiatives

Customer Support

  • Act as a single point of contact for customers and provide superior customer relations
  • Act as the face of the brand
    • Responsible for customer satisfaction, managing expectations, negotiation, and conflict resolution

General Administrative

  • Maintain proficiency in CRM system
  • Analyze project and product reports
  • Build strong cooperative inter-company relationships

Corporate

  • Manage and grow our largest corporate pet accounts
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements
  • Identify strategic opportunities

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, train, and coach Assistant Account Manager

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong Microsoft software skills, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using GoTo Meeting software
  • Experience using CRM software (specifically Sugar a plus)
  • Experience using ERP software (specifically Microsoft Navision a plus)
  • 2-4 years experiences working with corporate clients
  • 4-8 years sales experience
  • Experience working in the pet / death care industry preferred
